Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using jsonrepair.io ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

jsonrepair.io provides a free, client-side JSON repair and validation tool. The Service processes JSON data entirely within your web browser and does not store or transmit your data to our servers.

2. Use of Service

  • Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of results
  • Warranties that defects will be corrected

We make no guarantees that the JSON repair function will work perfectly for all cases. Always verify the output before using it in production systems.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL JSONREPAIR.IO, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or use
  • Business interruption
  • Loss of goodwill
  • Any other intangible losses

This applies whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages, and regardless of the theory of liability.

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand our practices regarding your data.

Important: You are solely responsible for the security and confidentiality of any data you input into the Service. Do not enter highly sensitive or confidential information.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, text, graphics, and logos, is owned by jsonrepair.io and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The underlying jsonrepair library is open-source and subject to its own license.

You retain all rights to any JSON data you input into the Service. We claim no ownership or rights to your data.

The Service uses third-party services including:

  • Google Analytics for usage analytics
  • Google AdSense for advertisements
  • Vercel for hosting

These third-party services are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices or content.

8. Advertisements

The Service may display advertisements through Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content of these advertisements or the practices of advertisers. Clicking on advertisements is at your own risk.

9. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
